What are some famous people today or long ago that did good things?

I'm doing this project for school. I have to do a biography about someone. But it has to be someone that did something good, while being famous. Like, Tiger Woods. He's a pro golfer but he helps people who can't afford golf, and he teaches them himself. For free. Someone like that! Please help! I need to pick someone by tomorrow, please anyone, help me!!!
