Why are so many transuals so ist?

I've noticed that many transual FTMs and transual MTFs have a very ist notion of the genders. I am not referring to the MTFs who are naturally feminine or the FTMs who are naturally masculine but the transuals who insult gender nonconformist cisgender and people by claiming that to be a man you have to be masculine and to be a woman you have to be feminine and that to be truly you have to change your body. I've been denigrated for being a male-identified gender queer who is not traditionally masculine and a non-op, non-hormone transwoman friend of mine was accused of being a ist. This has happened to many other gender nonconformist transqueers I know. Why is this? Transsexuals have suffered from the effects of the gender binary, why do they continue it? I've noticed this bigotry rarely found in non-ops/non-hormones, gender queers, crossdressers, TG butches, and other non-transsexual people. I'm very confused by this.
