Hair follicle testing?

Hello, ive got a hair follicle test comin up, im worried, its been about a month and a half and i only took 1 small hit, ive got medium length hair. Do you think ill be ok or should i cut my hair to be about an inch. Im looking for an answer, not a speech on how to stay away from drugs.
