Why isn't high scoring Allen Iverson considered a true point guard even though he is always top 10 in ists?
Allen Iverson is unique and the most amazing player for his size in NBA history. He is a slightly built 6ft/160lb superstar in a sport dominated by physical giants. Iverson is the only player in the NBA capable of finishing in the top five in scoring, ists, steals & minutes in the same season. Iverson is by far the toughest and most durable player in the NBA. He has an extremely high pain threshold that enables him to perform at a high level of intensity and aggression not only when he is hurt but when he is injured. Iverson is the most consistently durable player in the NBA. After 12 seasons he still leads the league every year in minutes played.
