Shouldnt Policing be outsourced to private security firms?

You know nothing about police except you don't like them stopping criminal activity that you may or may not be involved in. I don't know. Police are not required to go to the range four times a week. Most departments require only 1-2 times a year. Cops or sworn agents of the government who enforce laws and have the power to detain, search, and arrest. Police need four to sixth months of intense training and continual training throughout their careers. Security Officers need little or no training. The difference between a police officer a nd a security officer are night and day. Anyone with a sixth grade education knows this. Well, almost anyone.
