Hey answer this please?

ok so am new in the country ... i just move to america and i started a new school . and first day when i came the teacher introduced me to the cl so he said i am from england .. and it seems everyone wants to ask me questions ! and when i walk in the whole way everyone says "Oh look at the new British girl" and when i talk everyone seems to be interested hearing my voice ... and everyone asks me to say the word "aluminium" ! why is that .. ?? am really confused ! btw this was 2 months ago am just wondering why ! .. am a little worried D: lol
