Does anyone out there have a mother in law?

I am sorry. It sounds like the larger problem here is the lack of unity between your husband and yourself in this issue and maybe others. So regarding this issue, you do not have his support. What percent of your childs time is spent with her? Hopefully it is not that much? Or does she babysit while you work? If so,get someone else. But if it is just occasionally, your child should be fine. Its a learning experience for them to see diffferent people. But I sympathize with you because it is all about her lack of respect for your wishes which speaks volumes about her . You are not alone , however that doesn t solve it .
