Best to way to get through a break-up?
So, me and my girlfriend had been dating for 2 months. Things were great at first, we had a lot of chemistry between each other. Then a lot of things happened and we weren't seeing each other nearly as much. We also started getting into arguments a lot. She decided that we should take a break from the relationship until after the holidays. Back on Saturday, we talked about it and she said she couldn't be with anymore because I had been treating her badly(I went through a lot of personal stuff and I wasn't exactly myself and was stressed all the time) and she was afraid I would hurt her again. At first, it hurt a good bit, I'm a sopre in college and this is actually the first break-up I've been through while in college. I tried my best to save the relationship, for example, the day before we decided to take a break I knew that she was upset with me for how I had been treating her for the past 2 weeks, I went out and bought her flowers and she seemed happy with me. My fraternity was having a party that night, though, and when she got there she was just as pissed as she was before. This was only two hours after I gave her the flowers. At that point, I even thought about just breaking up with her then, but didn't act on it. What got me the most is how much she says that I hurt her, even though I did everything I could to make up for it. I admitted to everything I had done wrong and then she just repeated what I said telling me everything I had done to her. At the same time, I knew the end was going to come soon enough and there were plenty of times I had the feeling that we were rushing things and that she wasn't right for me. Its just that now, I keep on thinking back to the good times we had and how things were at first. I've already deleted her number out of my phone and deleted any pictures I had. My biggest fear is that if I hurt her as much as she says I did, that I'll do it again with someone else. Any ideas as to how I can get over her?
